Markhamack Dental Website: Case Study

A family and emergency practice in Markham. The new site puts evening and Saturday hours up front, has dedicated pages for the Canadian Dental Care Plan and the Interim Federal Health Program, and 15 service pages. Handover the week of October 18, 2026.

The clinic

Markhamack Dental is a family dental practice in Markham, Ontario, open evenings and Saturdays. The clinic accepts patients covered by the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) and the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP), so explaining coverage clearly matters as much as listing services.

What the old site lacked

The first screen was a photo and a “We Accept CDCP!” banner, and little else.
The extended hours, one of the clinic's strongest reasons to choose it, weren't visible up front.

What changed

The headline says it plainly: dental care for the whole family, with evenings until 8pm and Saturdays.
Request an appointment and the phone number sit on the first screen.
Dedicated pages for CDCP coverage and for IFHP, plus a fees and insurance page.
15 service pages and an appointment request page with its own confirmation.
Two landing pages for CDCP patients, ready for ads or emails.
A calm blue palette, and a close, treatment-specific photo on each service page.

What the staff can edit

The site is built on an editor (Sanity Studio) that holds every page and every visible word: text, photos, services, FAQs, the team and even the appointment form. If a field is cleared, the site falls back to its original wording instead of showing a blank. The site also runs on its bundled content when the editor isn't connected. Timeline

Work started on September 20, 2026. The finished site hands over to the clinic the week of October 18, 2026, replacing its WordPress site at markhamackdental.com.
